Koi Person of the Year Each year, the Club membership nominates and votes for a member or a member couple who have taken that extra step to volunteer for the various Club activities, and make the Club better for everyone. The Club's nomination is then endorsed by the national organization, the Associated Koi Clubs of America. These members give their time and talents by volunteering to participate in Club events, Club administration in the Executive Committee or Board of Directors, of help with the various Club duties, including helping with refreshments, producing the Club Newsletter or Web Site, or just generally being there whenever the Club needs some help. We are fortunate to have had such outstanding contributors to make the Club the success that it is. Following is a list of the current and past Koi Person of the Year recipients. 2010 Rita Hughes
